Since launching Ibbleobble in 2015, this is our second version of the website. Initially to get the brand off the ground we had created a static website with no CMS and any updates or amends were done as an when. While it served a purpose, long term we had no way of efficiently adding and amending content, so our task was to not only enhance the user experience of this site but integrate a CMS system – WordPress – which would make updating content much more easier. It would also allow us to experiment with heading tags, page titles and SMO tags to increase traffic via organic search via Google. Finally we wanted to create a site that increased engagement and appealed to both parents, people in education and especially children – this proved a real challenge for us.
Ibbleobble.com is built on WordPress using a bespoke design and clear semantic html5 code. We have ensured all our optimised graphics are high-resolution to enhance both our fun-packed brand and user-experience. The site works seamlessly on all mobile devices paying particular attention to the mobile experience as more people now view sites on mobile. We have included bespoke photography that accompanies the Ibbleobble brand as we understand the importance of using endearing photography, particularly when selling a product. The individual apps pages have been thoroughly crafted to make sure visitors have a clear understanding of our apps with the inclusion of an embedded YouTube video, the benefits of downloading our apps and most importantly where to buy them from.
KidDotCo understand that ibbleobble.com is much more than a website, we use this as a hub to communicate with our target audience and as a vehicle to promote our educational apps. Accompanying the website we have increased our social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, regularly posting out sharable content in the form of graphics, useful information, latest products and blog articles.
Additional features we have weaved throughout the site is the use of testimonials from industry experts and happy users of our apps, a comprehensive ‘About us’ page providing a face and back story to the Ibbleobble concept and an activity section for parents and teachers to download worksheets to share with the children.
Incredibly proud of this website, we submitted it to Creativepool annual awards where Paul was shortlisted and eventually awarded ‘Best Website’ by an individual. I would probably say this has been one of the most proudest moments of my life and testament to the hard work we have collectively put in to Ibbleobble as a team. We intend on growing Ibbleobble.com as we grow our range of apps and have lots of new pages to add in the near future.

“In addition to all of the other wonderful features included, the developers have also done an excellent job making this app easy to use and safe too. With simple tap and touch functioning to move through each problem, children will have no trouble at all with this app.”
