Currently working at my own company KidDotCo on personal and freelance projects. Previously as part of the Digital Design, Apps & UX team within the Digital Media department at MTV/Viacom. I’m a friendly approachable northerner who’s extremely motivated, adaptable & ambitious. I have big ideas but believe it’s all in down to execution, which I’d like to think is my forte.
My background has always been in design, I’ve worked across print, websites, apps, tv and more. I’m interested in all aspects from creating visuals to these user experience.
Although my roots are firmly planted in design I’m also very comfortable writing code too! In my previous roles at Channel 7 Media and MTV I’ve worked as a Flash designer and began writing applications in actionscript. From this my role at MTV became more mobile focused after building the first MTV News application for iOS devices. Since then I’ve never looked back and now I’m fully converse in objective-c and swift, but can find my way around css, html, php and more.
